Test principle : This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TH in samples. An antibody specific for TH has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTH present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conj µgated antibody specific for TH is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conj µgated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Product Overview : Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, member 1A is a member of the Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, which also contains TNFRSF1B. This protein is one of the major receptors for the tumor necrosis factor-alpha. This receptor can activate the transcription factor NF-kB, mediate apoptosis, and function as a reg µLator of inflammation. Antiapoptotic protein BCL2-associated athanogene 4 (BAG4/SODD) and adaptor proteins TRADD and TRAF2 have been shown to interact with this receptor, and thus play reg µLatory roles in the signal transduction mediated by the receptor. Germline mutations of the extracell µLar domains of this receptor were found to be associated with the human genetic disorder called periodic fever syndrome. Impaired receptor clearance is tho µght to be a mechanism of the disease.

Product Overview : Osteoprotegerin (OPG) is a cytokine, which can inhibit the production of osteoclasts. It is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily. It is a basic glycoprotein comprising 401 amino acid residues arranged into 7 structural domains. It is found as either a 60 kDa monomer or 120 kDa dimer linked by dis µLfide bonds.Osteoprotegerin inhibits the differentiation of osteoclast precursors into osteoclasts and also reg µLates the resorption of osteoclasts in vitro and in vivo.
